A good night's sleep has helped but I am still tired, I think the time difference and the action packed day have caught up with me but I am at Silverstone so no time to waste.
Another bacon roll at camp and then it is time to head through the campsites with all the tents and flags... almost every tent has at least one flag on a flag pole outside their tent showing their support for their team.
There were a lot of people at the track yesterday but nothing compares to today... I can only imagine what tomorrow will bring.
You really don't see it in the above photo but there is a sea of red where ever you look but not the deep dark red of Ferrari like I am used to seeing in Melbourne but the orange red colour of Vodafone McLaren; I find in Melbourne even though we have Mark Webber, an Aussie driver, there is a range of support for all teams (Ferrari and both drivers of Red Bull would have the most support in Melbourne) but here at the British Grand Prix, everyone are supporting the British team, McLaren, and their drivers... Jenson and Lewis.
So far in my travels I have used many modes of transport, today I added another one to the list... helicopter.
I took to the skies above the track for a birds eye view and I have to say that it does have an amazing layout but it is not a picturesque track, it is in the middle of nowhere. Last year I flew over Albert Park and it was so beautiful, the lake in the centre of the track and the skyline was beautiful and Silverstone can not compare to that.
Qualifying... I won't bore you with all the details, if you were interested you would know the results or would had watched it. I will say the Red Bulls are superior to any other car here, the Ferraris and McLarens are competitive but not near the Red Bulls... it is a Red Bull 1-2 finish for the taking.
