Day 287... rock

Ferrero Rocher is a spherical chocolate sweet made by Italian chocolatier Ferrero SpA.

Introduced in 1982, the chocolates consist of a whole roasted hazelnut encased in a thin wafer shell filled with hazelnut cream and covered in milk chocolate and chopped hazelnuts.

The sweets are individually packaged inside a gold-coloured wrapper. Rocher comes from French and means "rock".

Day 286... folklore

Bonython Hall is the "great hall" of the University of Adelaide, located in the university grounds and facing North Terrace, Adelaide. It is primarily used for University graduation ceremonies, examinations, expositions and public lectures and meetings likely to draw large audiences

Bonython Hall is opposite Pulteney Street, the only one of the city's north-south thoroughfares which does not continue north through the parklands. Folklore has it that the Bonython donation was made on the condition that a hall be built opposite Pulteney Street, thus blocking any future path through the parklands and preventing the division of the campus by a major thoroughfare.

Folklore also maintains that the Bonython family were very conservative and did not want the building used as a dance hall. Hence, the hall was designed and built with a sloping floor rather than flat floor

Day 284... fairies

Fairies are invisible and inaudible like angels. But their magic sparkles in nature. ~Lynn Holland

You can't see them but I am sure this little group of toadstools, located on the edge of the CBD of Adelaide and close to the parklands is the latest resort for the fairies....

Day 281... reasons

“I perhaps owe having become a painter to flowers.”
Claude Monet

This is a lovely quote, I can't say that I became a photographer because of flowers but I know that thanks to this project I see the beauty of flowers a lot more... so much so when I walked past the florist on Thursday and I saw these flowers I had to have them so I could capture their beauty.

For me, I started taking photos and went into my choosen career of television because it was a way of capturing the moment, remembering the past... I was influnced by the moon landing, something that happened before I was born but something I grew up seeing due to the magic of television.

Day 280... zig zag
