Day 83... in the pits

I have two passions... photography and Formula 1 Grand Prix

The season started this year with the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix... Melbourne, Australia and I was there. The F1 cars don't hit the track until Friday but they are there in the pits and I was lucky enough to walk along and see the cars in the garages.

Day 80... Penguin

It has been a busy day and I didn't know what I would take today... I was spending time with my nieces and nephews when I saw this little guy and knew that I had my photo of the day

Day 79... autumn days

In autumn when the trees are brown
The little leaves come tumbling down
They do not make the slightest sound

And blows them off towards the sky. 

 These leaves never got the chance to fly into the sky... my beautiful, two year old, nephew collected them for me so I just had to take photos of them.

Day 78... Delicate

Tonight is what is being called the Supermoon... a full moon at it closest to Earth, I will hopefully go out in to the darkness and take a shot but this light is my photo of the day...

This morning as I travelled to work the sky was on fire... these shots were taken from the balcony at work.

Day 75... Rhino room

Rhino Room is one of Adelaide's leading performance venues specialising in Comedy, Live Music & Parties... and also some very cool street art...

This big guy has highlights of Adelaide and South Australia on his back...

Day 74... advertising

One of the reasons that Adelaide is Mad in March is the Fringe Festival... the Fringe is now over for another year but there are still walls of advertising posters around the city

This guy has been living on the outside of the window at work for a few days now... I went to shoot him yesterday but got distracted, I am glad he stayed around

 

Day 72... cricket anyone??

I had gone upstairs at work today to take a photo of a spider that has been living on the outside of the window for a few days, when I saw this guy sitting on a chair... he was happy for me to get up close and take his photo but when I tried to catch him to put him outside he was gone...

Day 71... unaffected

I wandered through the gardens and unlike yesterday I took many shots, the thing I kept coming back to was the daisies... they were just so simple, so very unaffected
 

Day 70... pretty pink

A pretty pink flower... it was one of those days where time was very tight and I only took two photos for the day, both of this little pretty pink flower

 

Day 69... so very tiny

This plant has very beautiful purple and green leaves and that is what I was planning to shoot when I saw these very tiny flowers... the two flowers were only the width of my thumb.

Day 68... dog's life

I look at this photo and she is starting to look old but she also looks grumpy... maybe she didn't want her photo taken

Day 67...

In Adelaide March is known as Mad March...

one of the things that happens is that quiet streets become a racetrack for a V8 race.

Preperations are well under way with the streets being lined with barriers... both concrete and tyres, the tyre barriers are stacks of tyres chained together.

Looking at my photos I noticed that there is normally a lot of colour, today is different... I didn't search for a monochromatic shot but it is what I found

The petals are slowly opening on this daisy... it caught my attention as I walked along and day 66 photo of the day was created



Day 65... things are changing

Today's photo has been taken on my iPhone, I had taken photos earlier in the day and while they were not perfect I was happy but as I sat enjoying a drink with friends I saw this and just knew that I had a new photo of the day...

Autumn has began and the leaves are changing...

Day 64... Mad March

Mad March... there is a lot happening in Adelaide during the month of the March and one of my favourite places is The Garden Of Unearthly Delights, there are shows, rides, food and drink
