I stand watching.
Waiting.
I am alone, but I am not lonely.
Shifting light, textures, shades;
these are my companions. - Steve Coleman

365 project 2013 Day 008... angels breath
The air up there in the clouds is very pure and fine, bracing and
delicious. And why shouldn't it be? - it is the same the angels
breathe.

365 project 2013 Day 007... connected
We're both looking at the same moon, in the same
world. We're connected to reality by the same line. All I have to do is
quietly draw it towards me.”

Day 217...
Another busy day... I took plenty of shots but nothing suitable for my project so I had to find something at home to shoot.
This is a bit of bling that makes feel a little bit more special when I wear it so it seem perfect for my project

Day 179... winter
I prefer winter and fall, when you feel the bone structure in the landscape - the loneliness of it - the dead feeling of winter. Something waits beneath it - the whole story doesn't show."

Day 144...
“On the motionless branches of some trees, autumn berries hung like clusters of coral beads, as in those fabled orchards where the fruits were jewels . . .”
Charles Dickens
These berries are so very tiny, they first form as green berries in clumps, turning this beautiful metallic colour

Day 122...
I think this web has been around for awhile... but I do love the way it seems to be pulling the clouds together.

Day 118... contrast
To every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction... Newton's first law
I know Newton wasn't talking about colour but when I look at this photo (a vase of sticks in my lounge room) it is what I think of... the brightness of the colour of the wall needs the starkness of the vase and sticks

Day 89... play it LOUD
This is the new stereo that my son has installed in his car...
there was a saying when I was a teenager, "If it is too LOUD, then you are too OLD" and I get the feeling that teenagers of today still believe in the saying

Day 73... connected
The bird a nest, the spider a web, man friendship.
William Blake
This guy has been living on the outside of the window at work for a few days now... I went to shoot him yesterday but got distracted, I am glad he stayed around

Day 71... unaffected
The daisy's for simplicity and unaffected air - Robert Burns
I wandered through the gardens and unlike yesterday I took many shots, the thing I kept coming back to was the daisies... they were just so simple, so very unaffected

Day 26... Australia
I love a sunburnt country,A land of sweeping plains,
Of ragged mountain ranges,Of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons,I love her jewel-sea,
Her beauty and her terror -The wide brown land for me!
