Day 114... Easter Sunday

The day that the Easter Bunny comes and we all celebrate by eating chocolate eggs...
when I was doing my Easter shopping I couldn't help but notice the huge range of eggs, the colours and the sizes, which got me thinking of them sitting inside each other like the Russian dolls...
so I just had to create that exact thing.

Happy Easter...

Day 112... Good Friday

Hot cross buns,
Hot cross buns,
one ha' penny,
two ha' penny,
hot cross buns.

Traditionally hot cross buns were eaten only on Good Friday but now they are widely available, and eaten, throughout much of Lent... this year I waited until today, Good Friday.

For everyone who has a break this Easter (here in Australia it is a five day break due to the Anzac Day holiday) I hope you have a great break and stay safe

Day 90...hop to it

I got a chocolate rabbit
For an Easter treat,
A great big chocolate rabbit
Good enough to eat.

So I ate his ears on Sunday,
His nose I finished Monday.
Tuesday I nibbled on his feet.
I ate his tail on Wednesday
Thursday I kept on,
By Friday he was going,
Saturday he was gone.

Oh, I loved my chocolate rabbit
From the moment that he came,
And if I get another one,
I'll love him just the same

Day 88... Photography has increased my awareness

The title is a quote from Andreas Carl and it is something that I find everyday thanks to my 365 project...
and so when I saw this comment written on a building I smiled

Plenty of "art work" everywhere to see on Brunswick Street

these bees and "meat-eating" plant above a florist

It must be getting close to Easter, for my friends in Oz who want a chance to win go to http://www.goldbunny.com.au/

Naked for Satan is a Basque-style pintxos bar which opened up late last year in Brunswick Street; cool place for drinks and tapas...

How things have changed...
