Day 13... in the rain

In Adelaide today we had summer rain and so out to the garden I headed...


The way the water was running down our resident gargoyle made him seem like he was about to come to life...

 

The rain also made some pretty things look good as well...

Day 12... art in the streets

This "artwork" has appeared on walls around East Terrace, Adelaide...

Day 11... colours of nature...

I headed out to the garden tonight to find inspiration and discovered that nature will provide...

First the cannas in the garden...

As I was marvelling at the beauty of these wonderful plants Mother Nature put on another display for all to see... the setting sun.

Day 10... howling

In the park at the end of the street there is a sculpture of a dog howling...

and everyone knows that a dog should be howling at the moon so tonight I made it happen...

Day 9... wandering through the gardens

Since starting the 365 project I have carried my camera with me everyday... I have found that some days I take only the photo for the day while other days I take many, today I took many...

 

Day 8... baby blues

Day 7... stone walling

Week one of the challenge is complete... I have to say that I am enjoying it and seeing things differently, where previously I saw a wall today I saw a picture.

Day 6... strings

Day 5... watering

An early morning watering to help the plants with the heat of the day... results in waterdrops on leaves and morning sun

Day 4... back to the gym

This morning was the first time back to the gym this year so I grabbed the heart rate monitor and headed off.... a hard workout after a week off but it felt good

Day 3... a drink and memories

After a day at work, I came home to a glass of wine and shared my photo albums from last year with friends...

Day 2 - a walk through the parklands...

After a day at work on the way home, I parked the car and went for a walk through the parklands (Rymil Park)... to take a photo (or a few) and enjoy the sunshine

I love the depth of field that I managed to get with the next one... and my choice for photo of the day

 The roses were in bloom...

 I would like to go to this spot through out the year and photograph the different seasons...

After a long night celebrating the end of one year and the beginning of a new year, I did struggle to find the energy and inspiration to begin my project then I saw the light on this plant... and so I begin
