Day 59... STOP the red

It has been 28 days of red...

and it is now time to stop the red.

I don't know what tomorrow will be but it will be ironic if my subject is red....

Day 58... Racing red

I wanted the feeling of motion in the shot, I wanted the red to pop...Yes I own a slot racing system... Ferrari F1 cars (I am a huge F1 fan) and what better way to get that feeling of speed... so here it is...

To continue my red theme (only days to go and then I will have the freedom to shoot anything and everything) I wanted raspberries... problem they are not in season so Ripe Raspberry lollies were the next best thing



Day 55... a red star

Tonight only a red streak... this photo has the least red for the month and it is not the main colour but it does draw your eye

Day 50... 50 photos published at 365 project, more here on my blog and many many more taken. I have managed to take a photo a day... there have been some days that it is more of a struggle but I have managed it. I am loving the challenge and wonder what I did before.

Day 47... these shoes are NOT made for walking

These beautiful pieces of art, also known as shoes, were my birthday shoes...

I saw them on-line and just had to have them, then I had to find an outfit and accessories to match them

Day 46... a little prick

This little cactus lives on one of the desks at work.... it is not very big and it is a little prickly but the colour is so vibrant that you just have to love it

Day 43... dashes of red

Wandering the streets of Melbourne I saw a lot of grey and greens but then I also came across dashes of red...

The Wharf Hotel on the waterfront is more a splash of red...

Opposite the Crown Casino along Rebecca Walk is a series of shops that are more like storage lockers... 

 This high-rise was just another high-rise but for me the dash of red had it standing out from the crowd...

Day 42... Chinese Laterns

Walking along Southbank in Melbourne there were many photo ops but as I have decided to go with red as a theme for the month that limited my choices.. then I saw these laterns celebrating the Chinese New Year festival

Day 41... sting like a bee

My son's MMA training gloves...

I am sure if he was to hit you it would hurt more than a bee sting though...

Day 40... light me up

Day 39... apples

The apples are turning red... we planted this tree about 6 years ago but this is the first year we have more than one or two apples so now we have to work out what to do with them, apple pie is leading the way at the moment

 

Day 38... dust it off

Day 37... setting it up

This project has me enjoying my photography a lot more and where in the past I have taken the shots when they have been presented I now look at setting up the shot and thinking more about the background and the lighting... things have changed

I am now ten percent of my way through my project... and I am loving it!!!

What makes this photo special to me is that this is straight from my camera, no processing... my first for this project.
